This written contribution is submitted to the United Nations Special Rapporteur on the rights to freedom of peaceful assembly and of association (“UNSR”) by the International Network of Civil Liberties Organizations (“INCLO”) in response to the call for inputs for the report by the UNSR to be presented at the 50th session of the Human Rights Council. The report called for by the Human Rights Council Resolution 44/20 is to be dedicated to the protection of human rights in the context of peaceful protests during crisis situations.
